About Lee

Lee has been filling roles and kicking goals since way back in 2007. With an exotic name like Lee Jones it may come as a surprise that he is an Aussie born and raised in Melbourne. 

He started off his career in a Boutique agency recruiting sales reps and having his call numbers and talk times monitored. Tough going, but that is where he met his now business partner in crime Chris so I guess it cant have been all that bad. 

Summarising the next few years, he worked for a couple of other agencies both small and big, well the biggest in the world but does size really matter? In this case it does because that allowed Lee to experience a few different environments in Recruitment. 

This experience now helps Lee give great advice to other recruiters when it comes to selecting their next agency. 

Lee has managed small teams, large teams and all in between. By his own admission he has made mistakes but learnt from them and is now very passionate about helping other recruiters grow and succeed. Having managed and grown teams himself he can understand what it means to be a hiring manager in Recruitment and the implications if it is not done right. 

He loves the industry and all that goes with it. That's why he teamed up with Chris to create Society. 

Besides being a recruiter Lee is a father to a baby girl, husband, and passionate AFL fan. The Western Bulldogs, Melbourne Storm, and the Melbourne Victory are his teams and he loves getting out to watch them as often as possible. On weekends Lee plays Lacrosse and spends the rest of the weekend limping around chasing a toddler.
